IGP Idris Orders Dismissal of Three Officers Over Raid On Edwin Clark’s Home

The Inspector General of , Ibrahim Idris, has ordered the dismissal of the three inspectors involved in the unauthorized search of the home of elder statesman, .

Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, revealed this in a statement on Thursday.

The IGP had on Tuesday denied his involvement in the raid of Clark’s residence and immediately ordered the detention of the police officers involved in the raid.

Also, the police paraded a man suspected to be the informant in the search of the home of the elder statesmen and the IGP sent a delegation of top officers to visit Clark and apologize for the incident.
