The reaction is coming almost 24 hours after the Senate turned down the request of President Muhammadu Buhari for the confirmation of Magu.

Magu is holding the headship of the anti-graft agency in acting capacity.

The Senate turned down Buhari’s request to confirm Magu based on a damning report by the Department of State Services, which is an arm of the Presidency.
