The people of Ijesaland are in deep mourning following the passing of their revered monarch, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, the Owa-Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland.
The announcement was made on Thursday in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, through a statement signed by the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Yinka Fasuyi.
Prior to the official announcement, there had been concerns about the monarch’s health, with reports suggesting he had been indisposed. Chief Fasuyi’s statement confirmed the sad news and paid a touching tribute to the late king.
