N-Power issues warning to 2020 applicants

The N-Power scheme has warned 2020 applicants against giving out their information to people calling claiming to be its officials.

In an update via its social media channels on Sunday, the youth empowerment initiative sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria said no official of its will reach out to request for details.

“Dear Applicants,

“Please note that NO Ministry/NPower Official will call you to request for your details. Do NOT give your details over the phone to anyone, input them on any link and share them with strangers.

“Do NOT also make payment to anyone. Application is FREE,” it said.

Okay.ng understands that the scheme is currently recruiting 400,000 beneficiaries.

The portal (npower.fmhds.gov.ng) for the application was opened on June 26, 2020.
