  1. HEALTH: Our Vision on Health is to prepare a revolutionary health care master plan with the support and assistance of UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO) to provide healthcare services at affordable costs to the general populace of Kogi State.

* We shall build a New Health City in Anyigba, Okene & Kabba with the state of the art facilities.

  • We shall continue significant funding and sourcing of international support for the equipping and management of our General Hospitals.
  • We shall make provision of excellent healthcare services leveraging on a voluntary National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to improve technology and subsidize healthcare costs across the State.
  • We shall Promote Medical Tourism by persuading the Federal Government to create a Healthcare free trade zone in Kogi State most especially in Lokoja and other parts for vulnerable (Children 0 – 5 years and Elderly 70 years and above and also to reduce infant and maternal mortality rate.
  • We shall Partner with large foreign healthcare organizations (such as GE Health, Bill & Melinda Gates, etc.) to construct a World Class teaching Hospital at Kogi State University, Anyigba.
  • We shall introduce free medical services for underprivileged pregnant women in General Hospitals across the State to commence with the senatorial district which has the largest population of underprivileged persons. No woman should die during child birth.
  • We shall invest huge capital investment in training of healthcare professionals, it simply requires a simple common sense and wisdom to realize the value and invest in it.
  • My major concern on health issue is to work towards achieving the best healthcare system in Kogi State. There are lots of organizations that provides free basic health care needs,(equipment and drugs). People get these medical supplies and sell them for their own self benefits, they enslave patients and sell medicines that are meant to be free to them, I will make sure those individuals that see that avenue as gold mines for themselves don’t get their ways any more. I will leave no stone unturned to achieve these objectives by the grace of God.
  • The State Government will commit its resources to ensure basic healthcare facilities are available for all in the State.

ROYAL FATHERS; We all know the importance of Royal Fathers. Over the years the Royal Fathers are abused, disrespected and neglected. (there is nothing like a small king). Irrespective of their classes, a king is a king. I will make sure our kings are been elevated from time to time because; for a community to experience true growth and development It’s ROYALS must be in a very good and comfortable conditions . I will organize symposiums where they Royals will meet and discuss and they will be given tips on survival techniques by professionals, mainly on how to manage their subjects and resources. . I will Change their present situation by providing them with some level of security. Of course I will set up a committee to deliberate and make recommendations on this.

THE EAGLE’S VISION AND MISSION FOR KOGI STATE.

A new Kogi State is possible. Our Administration would be premised on principles for good governance and economic viability, public ownership, inclusive governance and free press.

We promise to ensure stability, civility, frugality, transparency, political tolerance, diverse views at all levels and public expenditure will be result-based and project-driven.

I will uphold the bond of performance between the government and its people, provide and deliver proactively through adaptive leadership, adequate, efficient and effective delivery of infrastructures.

Our government will insist on inclusivity, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, equity, accountability, and strategic vision with a view to bridging the trust gap between the people and the government.

It is my belief that Kogi State must belong to the self-sustaining state; I offer to translate the viewpoint, values and needs of Kogi indigenes to core policies that serve a collective interest and guarantee equity at all levels.

Representation in government would reflect gender balance, equity, non-partisanship and based on clear merit.

Our government will promote the respect for the various branches and tiers of government and support the oversight responsibilities of the legislature, independence of the judiciary and the autonomy of the local government.

Local Government Elections in the state would be promptly conducted to introduce and support the grassroots and rural area’s for more operational, self-supporting and self-accounting to enhance grassroots governance and development.

Finally, freedom of expression, access to information will be guaranteed with a view to making government business less opaque; we will make government and its business more transparent and accountable.

If elected governor 2019, we would send an Executive Bill to the Kogi State House of Assembly that would underline the rights of public access to information. In this context, every person shall have a right of access to information without prejudice to state security.

2019 is about re-inventing will and building capacity of Kogi State Youths through job creation and empowerment. Our Government shall be focus on 60% Youths, 25% women and children, 15% Elders.

“My aspiration is that the forgotten, the poor, less privilege and the disadvantaged are re – introduced into the society by providing them with social and basic amenities. No woman should die during childbirth. No child should die because of lack of access to medical health care. Attending private schools should be a choice, an option not a necessity. The financial burden of Kogi State should not be borne by traders, market women, artisans and small business owners struggling to find three square meals a day.

Our vision is a shared future anchored on creating opportunities for those who are disadvantaged today to have equal access to government resources, equal obligations as citizens of Kogi State and a regime of Fairness, Equity and Justice.

This quest for governorship of Kogi state is a product of extensive consultation among Kogites devoid of all primordial sentiments that set us back, and for this I Engr. Abdulmalik Mohammed Adama seek the support of all in this collective project and struggle to make Kogi State great again.

There are five fundamental reasons I’am vying for governorship of KOGI STATE:

  1. To run a visionary and transparent community-based government driven only by the genuine aspirations of the State.

  1. To create an effective, development-oriented administration that will harness and ensure prudent management of our collective resources to deliver value and improve the quality of life of our people.

  1. To deliver a true wealth-creating Kogi state that will be a leader in innovation, good governance and infrastructural development of the State..

  1. To make the state a commercial hub in the African sub-region and transition to a knowledge economy, technology advancement and international hub for business men and women from around the globe where they will stay and do their businesses with the rest of the world.

  1. To secure the future of our children by re-directing our energies to productive engagements rather than primordial sentiments that divide us as a people.
