Matthew Danjuma Oguche, a Nigerian man, has been identified as the other victim killed by gunmen at Kajuru castle in Kaduna, Okay Nigeria reports.

Faye Mooney, a British tourist, was identified as the one of the victim killed by gunmen at the resort centre located at a mountaintop in Kajuru village, Kaduna state.

A source confirmed to Okay Nigeria, that Danjuma was the other victim killed during the attack that happened on Friday.

Matthew Danjuma Oguche is training assistant at International NGO Safety Organisation.

The NGO confirmed his death in a statement on Monday.

The statement read:

“It is with great sadness that we confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Matthew Oguche in Friday’s attack at Kajuru Castle in Kaduna state, Nigeria.”

“Seen as the ‘little brother’ of the training team, Matthew was a kind, intelligent and outward-looking young man with a passion for learning and a deep commitment to helping others,” the organisation added.

“He had a lot of life ahead of him and will be deeply missed across the organisation and wider community.

“Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones and many colleagues at this difficult time.”
