Wigwe University, established in honor of the late Herbert Wigwe, former Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, is gearing up to commence full operational activities by August 2024, offering a diverse range of academic programs across various disciplines.
Located in Isiokpo, Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State, Wigwe University aims to provide quality education and foster academic excellence in a conducive learning environment.
The university will operate through four major colleges, each offering specialized programs:
- The College of Management and Social Sciences
- The College of Art
- The College of Science and Computing
- The College of Engineering
With the breakdown of school fees now unveiled, prospective students can plan their academic journey at Wigwe University:
- College of Arts: Students enrolled in the College of Arts will pay a total fee of ₦9.6 million per session, making it the most affordable option among the colleges.
- College of Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, and Science and Computing: Students in these colleges will incur a total fee of ₦11,998,800 each per session.
