A Federal High in has on Monday dismissed a suit seeking to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission () from collating results in state.

However, the African Action Congress and three of its members filed a suit seeking to stop the process.

The judge ordered that INEC be put on notice. Having heard the suit in the main, the trial judge has held that the suit is lacking in merit and is hereby dismissed.
