President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to the Nigerian capital, Abuja, after attending the coronation ceremony of King Charles III in the United Kingdom.
The President’s aircraft touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja this evening, marking the end of his visit to the UK.
The President’s departure from Abuja occurred on the 3rd of May, and he attended the coronation ceremony on the 6th of May.
Initially, President Buhari was scheduled to return immediately after the ceremony.
However, his stay in the UK was extended by a week upon the advice of his dentist, as stated by his spokesman, Femi Adesina.
