YouTube has finally gotten rid of those boxes you X out when you start watching a video and turn off in settings which are known as Annotations.
The video sharing site revealed that the feature will be disabled and also, “all existing annotations will be removed” starting on January 15, 2019.
This was revealed on their help page and they also revealed the reason why the introduced cards and end screens.
