Lil Wayne’s days with Cash Money are numbered. On Thursday, Weezy tweeted that he wants out of his deal, and that his album Tha Carter V won’t be released because Birdman and Cash Money refuse to put it out.

But it looks like Weezy will soon be parting ways with Cash Money. “It’s a fucked up situation, but I will be out of it soon, and I do it for ya’ll,” he said while performing at Vice’s 20th anniversary party in Brooklyn on Friday (via Lil Wayne HQ). Just a day ago, his manager Cortez Bryant acted like everything was fine. “We good,” he told TMZ. “I’m smiling. I wouldn’t be out at the club right now.” He later tweeted, “Sarcasm at an all time high.”

It’s unclear what Wayne’s next moves are, but the door is open at G.O.O.D. Music. Pusha T has invited him to join Kanye West’s label.
