Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has issued a public apology to Femi Falana, SAN, following disparaging remarks directed at the prominent human rights lawyer.

Speaking before the House of Representatives on Monday, September 30, the social media activist clarified his stance regarding the senior lawyer’s alleged involvement in the bribery accusations surrounding Bobrisky, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the Nigerian Correctional Service.

In his address, VeryDarkMan expressed regret for any harm his earlier remarks may have caused, emphasizing that he never believed Falana was involved in the bribery allegations.

“Apparently now, some people are taking advantage of what is going on to target Femi Falana,” VeryDarkMan stated.

“I’ll like to say here and now that I apologize to him. It’s so sad that his name was inside that audio. I couldn’t believe it as well. That’s the part that irritated me more, which is why I said I refuse to believe that he is a party to something like that.”

The apology comes amid ongoing investigations into bribery allegations involving Bobrisky, which have sparked widespread attention.

VeryDarkMan had previously been critical of the situation but took the opportunity to clarify his position and extend his apology to Falana.
