Plastun started his career at the Ukrainian second-class club Obolon Kiev where he also received his training. In 2008, Plastun made his debut and rose to first class with Obolon.
Plastun played more than 60 games for Obolon and was taken over by Karpaty Lviv after 3 seasons. After 4 years and 101 matches for Karpaty Lviv, Ludogorets then took him to the Bulgarian champion team where he continued his career until now.
Plastun: “I spoke to Roman Yaremchuk for the first time two weeks ago, I did not know him because I never played with him, but Roman told me only good things about the club, he talked about the beautiful stadium, the good atmosphere in the group, the supporters and the fact that KAA Gent is an ambitious and professional club, all things that convinced me even more to choose this club. “
