President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration is committed to addressing the country’s socio-economic challenges and promoting democratic values. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Course 32 of the National Defence College in Abuja, Tinubu highlighted his government’s efforts to address the economic challenges faced by citizens.

He mentioned the implementation of the new national minimum wage of ₦70,000 as one of the significant strides taken by his administration. Tinubu also emphasized his government’s commitment to curbing crude oil theft, creating an innovative business model in the mining sector, and ensuring the military is well-funded and ready for battle.

The President urged the graduates to apply their newfound knowledge and skills to address their countries’ complex security challenges. He also called for vigilance and proactive measures to address regional and global threats, while promoting democratic values and principles in Nigeria and across the continent.

The graduation ceremony saw 111 participants from various Nigerian security agencies and international partners, with Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Olotu, Commandant of the College.
