Tinubu Reconstitutes Management Teams in Ministry of Communications, Digital Economy

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of qualified Nigerians to key positions within agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy. The appointments aim to bolster the operations of these agencies and drive forward the digital agenda of the nation.

In a statement issued by Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, several individuals have been named to strategic roles across various agencies. Notable appointments include:

  • Abraham Oshadami as Executive Commissioner, Technical Services at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
  • Rimini Makama as Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management at NCC.
  • Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi as President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute.
  • Abiodun Attah as Executive Director, Technical Services at the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT).
  • Aisha Abdullahi as Executive Director, Finance & Administration at NIGCOMSAT.
  • Jaiyeola Awokoya as Executive Director, Marketing & Business Development at NIGCOMSAT.
  • Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju as Managing Director/CEO at Galaxy Backbone Limited.
  • Mohammed Sani Ibrahim as Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services at Galaxy Backbone Limited.
  • Olusegun Olulade as Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing at Galaxy Backbone Limited.
  • Olumbe Akinkugbe as Executive Director, Digital Exploration & Technical Services at Galaxy Backbone Limited.

The statement underscored President Tinubu’s confidence in the appointed individuals, expressing anticipation that their expertise will drive excellent service delivery and elevate the impact of the digital economy sector on the nation’s socio-economic development.
