President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Daniel Bwala as Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications for the State House.
The President also appointed three new directors-general for various national agencies, as announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Thursday.
The newly appointed directors-general include:
- Mr. Olawale Olopade as Director-General of the National Sports Commission. Olopade, a seasoned sports administrator, previously served as Commissioner of Youth and Sports in Ogun State and was the chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.
- Dr. Abisoye Fagade as Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Fagade is a marketing communication expert and the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions.
- Dr. Adebowale Adedokun as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement. Adedokun previously held the role of Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning at the bureau.
Daniel Bwala, the newly appointed Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, is a lawyer and well-known public affairs analyst, bringing his expertise in media and public communications to the State House.
President Tinubu encouraged the appointees to carry out their duties with dedication, patriotism, and a commitment to excellence, underscoring the administration’s focus on effective governance and national development.
