Nigerian alté-R&B sensation Tems has boldly stepped into the spotlight with her much-anticipated debut album, “Born in the Wild,” released today, June 7, 2024.

“Born in the Wild” is an 18-track odyssey that showcases Tems’ unique blend of soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. The album features a mix of previously released singles and brand-new tracks, including collaborations with notable artists Asake and J. Cole.

The album includes the hit single “Love Me JeJe,” a reimagined version of Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 classic, which soared to No. 4 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and No. 9 on Hot R&B Songs. Another highlight, “Me & U,” premiered at Tems’ Coachella performance in April and has enjoyed similar success.
