The Supreme Court has set aside Wednesday, October 30, 2019, to hear an appeal filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, against the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Okay.ng recalls that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal affirmed the victory of Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

The Tribunal overruled claims that the presidential election was rigged.

However, Atiku and the PDP filed a 66 ground of appeal before the Supreme Court itemising the different errors of law in the September 9 judgment delivered by Justice Mohammed Garba and unanimously agreed to by the four other members of the panel.
