Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, Atiku Abubakar, has filed an appeal against the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal judgement at the Supreme Court.

Atiku and PDP in the appeal wants the higher court to hold that the tribunal erred in its decision to dismiss its petition against the election of President Buhari.

The appellants filed the appeal on five grounds.

Mike Ozekhome (SAN), a senior lawyer in the legal team of Atiku and PDP, disclosed to Okay.ng that the appeal was filed on Monday.
