Nigerian music sensation Ruger has teamed up with the acclaimed Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage to release a captivating new single titled “Toma Toma.”

The track, which dropped on November 15, 2024, is now available across all major streaming platforms.

“Toma Toma” showcases a fusion of Northern rhythm styles with contemporary Afrobeats, creating an infectious melody that resonates with listeners.

In this three-minute track, Ruger confidently boasts about his prowess and ability to satisfy a woman, highlighting his financial status and material possessions. Tiwa Savage complements the song with her signature style, delivering verses that address detractors and affirm her position in the music industry.

The single was produced by the talented Kukbeatz, known for crafting hits that dominate the charts. The collaboration between Ruger and Tiwa Savage, under Kukbeatz’s production, has resulted in a track that is both sonically appealing and lyrically engaging.

Ruger, born Michael Adebayo Olayinka, rose to prominence in 2021 after signing with D’Prince’s Jonzing World Record, an affiliate of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

In February 2024, he announced his departure from Jonzing World and established his own label, Blown Boy Entertainment.

Tiwa Savage, often referred to as the queen of Afrobeats, has consistently delivered chart-topping hits and remains a dominant force in the Nigerian music scene.
