Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila on Wednesday delivered his farewell speech at a valedictory session for the 9th House in Abuja.

Principal officers of the House also presented goodwill messages ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly slated for next week.

During his farewell address, Gbajabiamila said his enthusiasm to serve remained undiminished, saying the lawmakers enriched his life.

The lawmakers also took turns to commend Gbajabiamila who has been in the House for 20 years representing Surulere 2 Federal Constituency in Lagos.

Gbajabiamila, who was elected for a sixth consecutive term in the February/March general elections recently accepted an appointment from President Bola Tinubu as his Chief of Staff.
