Nigerian artist Rema has returned with a double-sided single, “Holiday” and “Reason You,” marking his first solo release since his debut album “Rave&Roses” last year.

Both tracks showcase a new, evolved sound for Rema, with “Holiday” reflecting on his struggles and sacrifices in life, while “Reason You” is dedicated to one particular individual who has caught his eye.

Rema is known worldwide for his hit single “Calm Down,” which has become the best-performing Afrobeats video on YouTube of all time.

The song hit No. 6 on The UK Official Charts and No. 1 on the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S) chart.

He has also sold out shows worldwide, including two sold-out Brixton shows in London where he impressed even the harshest critics with his high-energy performance.

At only 22 years old, 2023 is a coming-of-age year for the Afrorave pioneer who will continue to grow, create, and leave his mark on music.

With Rema marking a year since his debut album, he has proven the immense impact Afrobeats has had on the world.
