Tensions have escalated between Faith Morey and Iyabo Ojo, prominent co-stars of the Real Housewives of Lagos (ROHLagos), as a heated war of words ensues over their on-screen camaraderie during the show’s second season.
The clash began during the inaugural episode of the season when the housewives convened at a spa, ultimately leading to a dramatic confrontation between the two personalities.
Amid the unfolding drama, Morey arrived at the gathering clad in a long dress with a distinctive tail at the back, drawing bewildered expressions from her fellow housewives.
In a surprising turn of events, Ojo was seen stepping on her colleague’s attire, sparking a series of confrontational exchanges between the two cast members.
The actress recently took to her Instagram page to address concerns about her relationship with the other housewives, emphasizing the entertainment-focused nature of RHOLagos.
Ojo acknowledged her deliberate portrayal as the “villain” in the show, underscoring the scripted and edited nature of the series to suit a captivating narrative for viewers and fans.
Expressing remorse for the dress-stepping incident, the 45-year-old actress tendered an apology, stating, “Am I friends with all the real housewives.. NO. When we meet outside, we say hello, hi, to each other & move on. Life no too hide like that, it is what it is!!!”
Responding to Ojo’s Instagram post, Morey vehemently refuted claims of the show being scripted, alleging that her co-star consistently displayed a negative disposition towards her. In a scathing rebuttal, Morey branded Ojo a “shameless bully” and implored her to desist from exhibiting such spiteful behavior.
“RHOLagos is not a scripted show and there are no guidelines by the producers as to how housewives should act!!! People act the way they act because that’s what and who they are! You can’t be someone you are not for 5 whole months! You can’t act for 5 whole months! Enough of this gaslighting people!!!” Morey asserted.
