Photos Of Sept 28th Red Blood Moon In Nigeria.

Remember we reported that Nigeria will witness a so called “Red blood” moon on September 28th.

The national space research &development agency in a statement signed by its deputy director, media and corporate communications, Felix Ale said a lunar eclipse otherwise known as Red blood moon would begin from 1.11 am, and will be at its maximum by 3.47 am, with its final contact at 6.22 am.

“Some of the regions seeing at least some parts of the eclipse include, Europe, South/East Asia, Africa, much of North America, much of South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, and Antarctica,” it added.

The lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the earth comes in-between the sun and the moon, and the earth casts its shadow on the moon, so that the moon appears reddish.

However some readers of LIB sent pictures to the blog owner confirming this scenario. See pictures of the scene below
