President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday night met with the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other caucus members of the APC.

Several serving and former governors were in attendance at the meeting including the former governor of Kano, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who is in a battle for supremacy with his successor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara is also at the closed door meeting which began at 8.30pm and is taking place at the new Banquet Hall at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, are also present, but they arrived the venue of the meeting after it had started.
