The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has announced that members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will enjoy the N30,000 minimum wage.

Dare disclosed this in a tweet through his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.

He tweeted: “New Minimum Wage: NYSC members to enjoy new minimum wage/ allowee Details coming …”

In an earlier report, Okay.ng reported that the FG will begin payment of the new minimum wage on or before 31st December 2019.

Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour, disclosed this at the end of the FEC meeting presided by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the State House on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019.
