The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has reacted to reports that it has sacked staff as a result of its transition from corporation.

This was contained in a statement signed by Garba Deen Muhammad, its Group Managing Director, Group Public Affairs Division on Tuesday.

According to the statement, NNPC Limited is not sacking any staff.

The statement reads, “NNPC Limited has not, and is not planning to, lay-off a single staff as a result of its recent transition from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to NPPC Limited.
