Arsenal and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have agreed a deal for the player to move to the North London side.

It was gathered that the Armenian was earlier reluctant to join up with the Gunners but recent reports from 1in.am, claim that the former Borussia Dortmund star has accepted to join Arsenal as part of the Alexis Sanchez transfer deal.

Recall that Arsene Wenger had earlier on Thursday confirmed that Sanchez’s deal will be sealed in the next 24 hours.

Armenian news agency 1in claims Mkhitaryan will be paid £130,000 a week after tax after agreeing on a package with Arsenal worth £235,000 a week – or £12.2million a year.

Mkhitaryan will receive additional bonuses which will make the 28-year-old comfortably the highest earner at Arsenal.

The news is actually yet to be confirmed by the parties involved.
