Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Yul Edochie, has finally opened up about the devastating loss of her 16-year-old son, Kambolichikwu, who tragically passed away three months ago.

The young teenager collapsed while playing football at school, leaving his family in deep sorrow.

After maintaining silence throughout this painful period, May took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share a heartfelt tribute to her late son.

Alongside a touching photo of herself surrounded by all her children, she poured out her emotions and expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her family during these trying times.

In her poignant message, May wrote, “Words are not enough to express our gratitude to you all. In all of these ordeals, we believe that this immeasurable loss is heaven’s gain.”

Reflecting on the profound impact of losing a child, she contemplated the absence of a specific English word to describe such a profound loss.

May acknowledged the intense and indescribable grief her family is experiencing but emphasized their resilience by God’s grace.

Acknowledging the unpredictable nature of life and the unforgettable moments of loss, May expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support received from friends, family, and well-wishers worldwide.

She praised the unwavering prayers that have sustained them, and credited her friends, family, and the brands she represents for their unwavering support during this difficult time.

May also expressed her deep appreciation for her loyal fans, who stood by her even in her absence.

Their love, she described as “God’s grace,” representing the wonder and awe of serendipity. Despite the profound pain, May found solace in the unshakeable support surrounding her, and offered her blessings and prayers to those who have shown kindness.

She concluded her heartfelt tribute with a poignant message to her late son, saying, “It is impossible to forget a child, so he’ll always remain the second of my four adorable children. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty, my sweet angel, Kambilnachukwu, until we meet again.”
