Manchester City Football Club has reached an agreement to secure the services of talented Brazilian forward Sávio from Girona, according to renowned football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
In a tweet shared on his X account on Monday, Romano revealed the latest development in the transfer saga, stating, “Manchester City agreed to sign Sávio from parent club Girona in the summer. Documents to be signed in the next few days.”
The deal is expected to see Sávio make the switch to Manchester City ahead of the next footballing season.
However, the 19-year-old will remain focused on his duties at Girona until the conclusion of the current campaign before officially joining the Premier League champions.
Romano also highlighted Manchester City’s successful pursuit of Sávio, noting that the club emerged victorious in the race for his signature despite interest from several other clubs in Germany and England.
