Former Senate President Ahmad Lawan, representing Yobe North, has demanded an investigation into a military-civilian clash in Gashu’a, Yobe State, where soldiers allegedly killed three civilians during a protest.

Lawan called for a swift investigation by the military into the tragic incident, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice for the victims.

In a statement, Lawan expressed deep sadness over the event and urged military authorities to ensure that those responsible for the killings are apprehended and brought to justice.

He reassured the community of Gashua to remain calm and peaceful, offering prayers and condolences to the families of the deceased.
