Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various programmes of the College which commences on Monday, 26th March, 2018 and closes on 4th June, 2018.

Please note that the entrance examination will be conducted using computers i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT). The test will be taken at Offa (the College). The date of the examination will be communicated.

  1. COMMUNITY HEALTH
    i. CHEW (COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER)
    ii. NDCHEW (NATIONAL DIPLOMA COMMUNITY HEALTH)
    iii. JCHEW (JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER)
    REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
    NECO, WAEC, GCE, OR NABTEB
    Five (5) Credits in the following subjects
    (Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
  2. DENTAL HEALTH
    i. DST (DENTAL SURGERY TECHNOLOGY)
    ii. DHT (DENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN)
    iii. DENTAL THERAPYREQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION INTO DST/DHT
    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB
    Five (5) Credits pass in the following subjects
    (Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
  3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENCE
    i . EHT (ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN)
    REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB
    Five (5) Credits in the following subjects
    (Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)ii. EVT ( DIPLOMA ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN)
    ND and HND ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY
    REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
    GCE, NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB
    Four (4) Credits in the following subjects
    (English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Mathematicsiii. EHA (ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT)
    REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
    GCE, NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB
    Four (4) Credits in the following subjects
    (English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Mathematics

    iv. HEP (HEALTH EDUCATION PROMOTION)

    Four (4) Credits in the following subjects
    (English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Mathematics

  4. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT                                                                                    HIT (HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNICIAN)
    REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB
    A minimum of three (3) Credits and 2 Pass
    The Credit must include:
    English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science
    And passes in two (2) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, and Agric. ScienceNDHIM (NATIONAL DIPLOMA HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT)
    HNDHIM (HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT)

    REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
    NECO, WAEC, GCE OR NABTEB
    A minimum of Five (5) Credits which must include the following subjects
    (English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Physics/Chemistry and any subject chosen from the following Economics, Geography, Religious Knowledge, and Nigerian Language)

  5. MEDICAL LABORATORY                                                                                                                  i. MLT (MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN)

    Four (4) Credits in the following subjects

    (Mathematics, English, Biology/Health Science, Economics), + any other one in (Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agricultural Science)
  10. OPTHALMIC TECHNICIAN                                                                                                               i. OPT (OPTHALMIC TECHNICIAN)

  14. PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT
    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates seeking admission into National Diploma in Physiotherapy course must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics
    DURATION: Six (6) semesters including practicals 

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES (HND)
ADMISSION INTO NATIONAL DIPLOMA IS OPEN INTO THE FOLLOWING COURSES

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Prospective candidates must have completed the National Diploma (ND) programme in relevant area with at least lower credit pass at the final examinations.

  1. Five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry
  2. Evidence of completion of one year industrial training (IT) from recognized institution

DURATION
Four (4) semesters i.e two (2) academic sessions including practical attachment

REMEDIAL STUDIES
This is intended to make up for O’level deficiencies.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates into remedial studies of the college, it is aimed at preparing candidates for automatic admission into any courses of study into the college.

Admission into the College of Health Technology Offa is automatic provided a remedial programme as follows:

  1. Obtained a minimum of 2.0 CGP from O’level subjects undertook at the college
  2. Remedied all necessary O’level deficiencies

All successful candidates will be placed into courses of their choice.

DURATION:    6 months

Application fee is Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000 .00) to be paid on the portal via ATM cards
