Award-winning actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has expressed her love and offered heartfelt prayers for her friend and fellow actress, Eniola Badmus, following Badmus’ public expression of her hope to become a mother.

During her annual charity event, a visibly emotional Eniola Badmus shared her heartfelt desire to have children, asking the crowd to keep her in their prayers.

“Please always mention me, Eniola Badmus, in your prayers. I’m waiting upon the Lord for children. With your prayers and God by my side, I will continue to serve you and work towards a brighter future for our community,” she said in a viral video.

Moved by her friend’s words, Funke Akindele took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video, praying for Badmus and encouraging her to remain hopeful.

O se (owo Adura),” she wrote in the caption, referencing her iconic character, Lefty, from the film Omo Ghetto.

In the video, Akindele prayed passionately for Badmus, saying, “You will have male, you will have female, you will be fruitful in the name of Jesus. The God that did mine will do yours too.”

Eniola Badmus, deeply touched by Akindele’s gesture, responded with gratitude.

“Thank you from the depths of my heart for your kind words and encouragement about my future. Hearing you say that I will be fruitful with children filled me with so much hope and joy.
