Forbes Magazine has recognized the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa, with the Best of Africa Outstanding Corporate Governance CEO Award for 2022.

The virtual award ceremony, which was organized by Forbes in conjunction with the Foreign Investment Network (FIN), aimed to recognize distinguished Africans for their outstanding performances and track records in governance and businesses that have made a significant impact on the lives of Africans and the world.

In his acceptance speech, Inuwa thanked the organizers of the award for the incredible honor and Forbes for their commitment to promoting strong corporate governance practices.

He stated that good corporate governance is essential to the success and sustainability of any organization, as it helps to create a culture of transparency and accountability that fosters trust and confidence among stakeholders.
