Manchester United will face Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Erik ten Hag’s side are handed another intriguing test against LaLiga opposition in Europe’s secondary club competition having brushed aside rivals Real Betis 5-1 on aggregate in the last-16 and also seen off Barcelona in a heavyweight play-off tie last month.

It can be recalled that United and Sevilla met in the last-16 of the Champions League back in the 2017/18 season, with a goalless draw in Spain followed by a winning brace from substitute Wissam Ben Yedder at Old Trafford.

They went on to lose to Manchester United will face Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Elsewhere in Friday’s draw, surprise package Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium were paired with German side Bayer Leverkusen as they look to produce another upset on an incredible European journey.

Jose Mourinho’s Roma also face Feyenoord in a repeat of last year’s inaugural Europa Conference League final, which the Italians won 1-0 thanks to Nicolo Zaniolo’s first-half goal in Tirana.
