Nigerian music veteran Daddy Showkey has shed light on a previously undisclosed altercation between his colleague Eedris Abdulkareem and late American rapper DMX.

In an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Daddy Showkey revealed that Eedris Abdulkareem’s clash with international artists wasn’t limited to his recent spat with 50 Cent.

He disclosed that Abdulkareem had a confrontation with DMX during the All African Games in 2003.

Recalling the incident, Daddy Showkey explained that DMX was prepared to confront Abdulkareem, and he was among those who intervened to de-escalate the situation.

“The same thing Eedris did with 50 Cent is what he did with DMX at Transcorp. DMX was ready to confront him. I was among the people that pleaded with him,” Daddy Showkey disclosed during the interview.

Moreover, Daddy Showkey dismissed Abdulkareem’s recent claims that fellow musician Charly Boy betrayed him during the altercation with 50 Cent.

He emphasized that Abdulkareem has a history of disputes with international artists, suggesting a pattern of behavior in such encounters.
