Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has issued a challenge to her senior colleague Rudeboy, questioning his decision to remain silent for over 20 years while allegations were made against her.
Morgan’s remarks came in response to Rudeboy’s recent comments criticizing Eedris Abdulkareem for his remarks about Burna Boy and other artists.
Rudeboy had claimed to have stayed silent about issues of avarice in the music industry for over two decades.
However, Morgan, who previously had a contractual dispute with Rudeboy’s brother Jude Okoye, questioned Rudeboy’s silence over her situation.
She accused Rudeboy of allowing his brother to fabricate accusations against her without speaking up.
In a social media post, Morgan directed her words at Rudeboy, questioning why he remained silent for so long while his brother allegedly maligned her. She expressed her disappointment and prayed for divine judgment on the matter.
Morgan’s statement read, “Why did you keep quiet for 20 years, Rudeboy? The way you remained silent while your brother lied about me. God will judge all of you in this country. People say never meet your heroes, but for me, I say disappointment over illusion.”
