Court reserves ruling on Maina’s bail application

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday reserved ruling on the bail application filed by former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina.

Okay.ng had earlier reported that Maina was brought to the court in a wheelchair by two prison wardens.

The judge, Justice Okon Abang, said due to heavy workload on the court to rule on Maina’s bail application.

He noted that a later date would be transmitted at the end of the proceedings of the trial today.

Maina is standing trial on a 12-count charge bordering on money laundering, operating fictitious bank accounts and fraud.
