In a heartfelt public apology, Darasimi, the wife of popular comedian Ijoba Lande, has expressed remorse over alleged infidelity. Speaking during an interview on the Talk to B podcast on Saturday, Darasimi, commonly known as Dara, pleaded for forgiveness from her husband and the general public.

Addressing Ijoba Lande directly, Dara said, “Ijoba Lande, don’t be upset with me. I’m also begging everybody that I have disappointed and Nigerians all over the world. This is not who I am, but I did not pray to make such mistake again. And I will never walk close to it again. I beg you in the name of God, I’m so sorry, I’m very sorry.”

The apology follows a series of dramatic revelations involving actor Baba Tee and another individual identified as Mary Gold. Ijoba Lande had recently accused Baba Tee and other colleagues of having inappropriate relationships with his wife.

While Baba Tee initially denied the allegations, he later admitted to engaging in a brief sexual encounter with Dara and offered a public apology to Ijoba Lande.

Additionally, Mary Gold, who reportedly served as both Ijoba Lande’s manager and Dara’s close friend, admitted to facilitating the meeting between Dara and Baba Tee. She, too, has asked for Lande’s forgiveness, acknowledging her role in the situation.
