Nigeria and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, South Africa’s Ronwen Williams, and Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie emerged as some of the biggest winners at this year’s Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards held on Monday.

Lookman claimed the prestigious CAF Men’s Player of the Year Award, beating other nominees such as Simon Adingra, Achraf Hakimi, Ronwen Williams, and Serhou Guirassy. Lookman’s outstanding performances for both club and country this year earned him the top honor.

South African goalkeeper Ronwen Williams enjoyed a remarkable night, taking home two major awards: the Men’s Interclub Player of the Year and the Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year.

Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was recognized as the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, further cementing her status as one of the continent’s most talented shot-stoppers.
