Burna Boy, the talented Afrofusion star, has once again emerged victorious at the prestigious Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

The 2023 edition of the award show took place on June 25 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Burna Boy triumphed over tough competition from artists such as Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy to secure the coveted ‘Best International Act’ accolade.

This remarkable win extends Burna Boy’s reign in the BET Awards history, making it his fourth consecutive victory in the “Best International Act” category.

The Grammy-winning artist previously claimed the title in 2019, 2020, and 2021, solidifying his position as a global music sensation.

While Burna Boy undoubtedly stole the spotlight, there were other notable winners at the 2023 BET Awards.

Among them were the immensely talented female artists Beyoncé and SZA.

SZA achieved an incredible feat by clinching three significant awards: ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Best Female R&B/Pop Artist,’ and ‘Video of the Year.’

Notably, the event paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, honoring Busta Rhymes with the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award.’
