President Muhammadu Buhari is in Chad for the Extraordinary Session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).
The president arrived earlier on Saturday to participate in the conference.
African leaders present at the event are expected to talk about the raising security challenges in the continent.
