Recall that Gifty had in the past denied ever been married eve as wedding photos of her surfaced online following her nomination as one of the contestants in the Big Brother Naija house.

Gifty Powers has however in a recent interview opened up on why she denied ever being married adding that it was one of the darkest days in her life.

Gifty Powers during the interview broke down in tears as she said: “I was once married.”

While speaking to HipTV, the former Big Brother Naija housemate said: “The marriage you see was kind of real. Yes, I was once married and it’s a dark part of my life that I don’t want to ever go back. My advice to every young girl out there is that before you go into marriage, you have to be physically, mentally, emotionally and physiologically matured. Because I was naive.”
