AVM Hamza Abdullahi, a former governor of Kano state has passed away.
He died in the early hours of of Thursday in Germany after a brief illness.
A source confirmed his death to Okay Nigeria that he was ill while performing Umrah and was flown to a hospital in Germany were he passed away.
The retired air vice marshal (AVM) served as military governor of Kano state from 1984 to 1985.
