The All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced September 4, 2021 for its local government area Congresses.

This was disclosed by Sen. John Akpanudoedehe, Secretary of APC Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) on Wednesday, in Abuja, NAN reports.

Akpanudoedehe, in a statement, said the purchase of forms for ward, local government areas and state congresses would begin from August 18 to 28.

He said screening of prospective aspirants would be from August 31st to September 2nd.

The APC spokesman said local government congresses, including three-man delegates for the party’s National Convention, would be on September 4th, while appeals arising from the congresses would be from Sept. 6 to 11.

“Nomination forms for the position of LG chairman will cost N25,000, LG vice chairman, secretary and treasurer will cost N15,000,” he said.

The APC scribe noted that forms for other party offices would cost N10, 000, adding that female and physically challenged aspirants would pay 50 per cent of the fees for each position.
