Arsenal, Chelsea Agree £35m Fee For Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a fee with Arsenal for England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The 24-year old, who is with the England squad, is expected to undergo parts of his medical at St George’s Park ahead of a proposed £35 million switch.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of contract at the end of the current season, along with Arsenal team-mates Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

As with Sanchez and Ozil, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has consistently said he wants Oxlade-Chamberlain to stay at the Emirates in the long-term.

Oxlade-Chamberlain had reportedly rejected a new offer which would have seen his weekly wage rise to £180,000.
