39 Ships With Petrol, Other Products to Arrive Lagos This Month

Thirty nine ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos from April 1 to April 26.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, on Friday in Lagos.

NPA explained that the expected ships contained buck wheat, empty containers, bulk salt, bulk sugar, general cargoes, ethanol, containers, crude palm oil, steel products, diesel and petrol.

The document noted that four ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, aviation fuel and kerosene.

Fourteen other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, containers, bulk sugar and petrol.
