Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, is currently in mourning following the death of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie.

The 16-year-old was reported to have been rushed to the hospital after he became unconscious, but unfortunately, all efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive.

The sad news has thrown the Edochie family into a state of mourning. Kambilichukwu is the grandson of the veteran actor, Pete Edochie.

Although the family has not made an official statement regarding the tragedy, a source who spoke to the media on the condition of anonymity confirmed the actor’s loss.

It is a heartbreaking moment for Yul Edochie and his family, especially his first wife May, who is the mother of the deceased.

The news comes just two months after the family celebrated their first son’s 16th birthday, and he was prayed for and showered with encomiums.

According to reports, Kambilichukwu’s sister was around when the incident happened and recounted that the young boy read throughout the night, preparing for his examination.

After the exam, he joined his mates to play football when he developed a seizure, and he was immediately rushed to Mother and Child Hospital.
