Woof Studios Africa, one of Africa’s leading Creator Service Providers (CSPs), will make history as the first African creator agency to both attend and take the lead at the LIONS Creators Forum during the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2025.

Scheduled to run from June 16–20, 2025, in Cannes, France, the LIONS Creators Forum is a prestigious conference tailored for digital creators and the wider creator economy.

Woof Studios’ participation signals a new chapter for African storytelling on the global stage.

From Lagos to Johannesburg, Nairobi to Accra, Woof Studios has built a reputation for empowering Africa’s boldest artists, storytellers, and creative entrepreneurs, bridging the gap between local culture and global opportunity.

In a major milestone, the studio will lead a multi-country African delegation featuring top creators such as  Ifeyinwa Joan Mogekwu, the force behind Nigeria’s beloved culinary platform Ify’s Kitchen; dynamic South African duo Cent Twinz; Ghanaian visual artist and storyteller Enil Art (Israel Derrick Apeti); and South African entrepreneur, content creator, and speaker Mpoomy Ledwaba.

These creatives will not only attend the event but also headline speaking sessions, brand activations, and pop-up showcases, offering the world a vibrant glimpse into Africa’s creative ingenuity.

Adetutu Laditan, Founder and Creative Director of Woof Studios, emphasized the significance of this moment:
“Africa is not the future of creativity, we are the now,” she said.

“This is about more than visibility. It’s about rewriting the script on who shapes global culture. At Woof Studios, we believe in the power of African talent to shape the global creative landscape. We’re honoured and grateful to the Cannes Lions team for this opportunity to carry that message to Cannes on behalf of millions of African creators.”
