A woman was arrested after breaking into a home and strangling the homeowner with a bra.

Ashley Sies, 31, of Kentucky, allegedly tried to strangle another woman with her bra.

However, her plans were thwarted when the victim fought back with a ceramic chicken. Lexington Police arrested Sies after she forced her way into the house belonging to Patricia Leece, 61.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Leece said that someone was at her door, banging and shouting.

Leece thought that it was her granddaughter at the door. When she opened the door, Sies forced her way inside the house. She wrapped a bra around Leece’s neck and began choking her.

Sies and Leece fought for about 15 to 20 minutes, before the victim found a way to protect herself. She spotted her ceramic chicken and decided to use it as a weapon.

Leece said that she hit Sies over the head with the chicken until she fell unconscious. That is when Leece called police.

The officers then took Sies to a hospital before booking her on charges of first-degree robbery. Sies was allegedly high at the time of the incident.
